Coronavirus infection spread in China will be completely eliminated in two months claims Chinese health agency

The novel coronavirus outbreak in China will be completely eliminated in two months, according to a foremost medical adviser to China.

China’s foremost medical adviser on the outbreak, Zhong Nanshan, said he was optimistic about the coronavirus to be completely over by April.

Meanwhile, the number of new patients infected with the coronavirus in China on Tuesday is reported to be the lowest since January 31.

In Hubei province, which was considered the epicentre of the Coronavirus infection, 19 people died yesterday from infections, while about 1,000 new infections were reported.

The virus has so far has claimed 1100 lives in China.
