Two die in road mishap in Tinpiple of Kathmandu

December 27: Two persons died in a road accident at Tinpiple of Tarakeshwor municipality-3 of Kathmandu this morning.

The accident took place when a mini-truck (Na 2 Ka 338) heading towards Sisdole landfill site, Okharpauwa via Pasanglhamu road of Nuwakot carrying garbage fell around 20 meters off the road. The deceased has been identified as mini-truck helper Kamal Lama, 30, of Galchhi rural municipality and identity of the mini-truck driver is yet to be ascertained, said Assistant Sub-Inspector, Resham Thapa Magar.

Both driver and helper were crushed by the mini-truck and died on the spot in the accident, according to the Metropolitan Police Post, Tinpiple.
