Syangjha, Nov. 8: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Baskota has reiterated that the government won’t falter on the issue of Lipulek and Kalapani border.
Unveiling a postage stamp in Syangjha today, Communications Minister and government spokesperson Baskota said the government has made its views clear on the border issues and nobody should doubt whether the government will deviate from the matter.
Minister Baskota further said the government will settle the dispute through diplomatic and political channels.
On the occasion, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Kumari Aryal said people should not have any misgivings as the government is committed to lifting the image of the country high. The minister insisted that the government is sensitive to issues hurting the nation and it will not backtrack on issues of nationality.
