President Bhandari calls for collective actions from all stakeholders for overall development of the country

Kathmandu, September 14: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has called for collective actions from all stakeholders for overall development of the country.

Addressing the President with Children programme organized by the Women, Children and Senior Citizen Ministry at the presidential palace Sheetal Niwas on the occasion of National Children Day today, President Bhadari said the environment for children is improving and so is the development of children.

Talking to the children, the president said she had no particular aim for herself when she was a child. However, she always believed that the country should prosper.

She also stressed no development work including that of children’s welfare be limited to the slogan alone. She said all the programmes taken forward for the walfare of children should be implemented effectively.

Meantime, Women, Children and Senior Citizen Minister Thama Maya Thapa said the government has been working to guarantee the rights of the children.
