Minister Bhattarai administered oath of office  

Kathmandu, July 31: President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai. The swearing-in ceremony was held at President’s Office, Shital Niwas, this afternoon.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had been looking after the ministry following the demise of the then Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari in a helicopter crash in Taplejung on February 27, 2019.

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Oli, Speaker of the House of Representative Krishna Bahadur Mahara, among others were present on the occasion
Meanwhile, assuming the office at the ministry today itself, Minister Bhattarai said that making the upcoming visit Nepal year 2020 successful is one of his major works.

He made a commitment to developing necessary infrastructures for coming Visit Nepal year within the stipulated time. He further added that the remaining work of Gautam Budhha and Pokhara International airports will be completed before the deadline and Nijgad International Airport will be constructed within three years hence.

He also vowed to improve the conditions of all domestic airports and keep the pride of Nepal Airlines high.
