Remaining works of party unification will be completed within mind August: NCP Chair Prachanda
Kathmandu, July 25: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the remaining works of the party unification will be completed within mind August, and a nation-wide campaign will be launched from the fourth week of August.
Addressing a programme organized to commemorate the Sixth Memorial Day of founding member of Nepal Communist Party, Nara Bahadur Karmacharya, at the party office, Dhumbarahi today, the party chair opined that an outstanding initiative has been taken by unifying the two major communist parties in the country.
Meanwhile, Chairman Parchanda stated that the true tributes to the late founding leader Karmacharya would be to make a commitment to give a new model of socialism to the country and the world by further consolidating the party unity and making the government’s works more effective.
Likewise, NCP senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal stressed on further strengthening the party unity and moving ahead by correcting weaknesses. He said the late leader Karmacharya was always for a united communist party in Nepal.
