National Assembly lawmakers demand government’s clear concept on Public Service Commission ‘s vacancy announcement

July 24, Kathmandu : The lawmakers of the National Assembly have demanded government’s clear concept about the recent vacancy announced by Public Service Commission.

Youths of indigenous nationalities and Dalit community have been launching agitation, saying the vacancy announced by the PSC was against constitution, law and the principle of social justice.  In today’s meeting, lawmaker Khem Kumar Bishwokarma demanded to scrap the vacancy announced by the PSC citing it was against the sentiment of constitution and proportional and inclusive representation.

Similarly, another lawmaker Anita Devkota demanded the government to make arrangement of chemical fertilizer as soon as possible as well as to run different programmes for relief to landslide victim families. Likewise, Udaya Sharma demanded to appoint office-bearers at the National Women Commission, the important structure monitoring the cases against domestic violence and violence against women at a time when such cases are increasing in the country day by day. development.
