The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has directed its all leaders and cadres to engage in rescue and relief distribution to the victims of floods and landslides.
Prime Minister and Nepal Communist Party Chair KP Sharma Oli and another Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ issued a joint statement, urging the party leaders and cadres to serve the people suffering in the disasters occurred in various parts of the country. In the statement, the party chairs mentioned that they were aggrieved with the loss of lives and property caused by landslides, floods, and inundation.
The statement also mentions that initiatives are underway from the government side to ensure rescue and relief distribution to the victim families, paying tribute to those losing lives and wishing for the speedy recovery of injured ones in the disaster.
Likewise, Vice President Nada Bahadur Pun has expressed deep sorrow on the loss of lives and properties across the country due to natural calamities. Issuing a statement today, Vice President Pun has paid a tribute to those who lost their lives and expressed deepest condolences to the bereaved families.
