Kathmandu, July 6: Nepal Communist Party Chair and PM KP Sharma Oli has directed the party leaders and cadres to defend the decisions taken by the party leadership and the government.
Addressing the parliamentary party meeting of the Nepal Communist Party held at Parliament building in Baneshwor today, PM Oli stressed that the party cadres need to keep the party’s rules and discipline in account while working and commenting on any event.
He said that the party cadres may have dissatisfaction over the party’s and government’s leadership. However, such discontents should come at right time and place.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, Nepal Communist Party Chief Whip Dev Gurung quoted the PM that the vegetables and fruits imported from India will be tested for pesticide use only after managing appropriate lab and technology.
Meantime, the lawmakers from the Nepal Communist Party have demanded the leadership to complete the remaining task of the party unification soon.
Party Chief Whip Gurung also shared with media that the lawmakers opined that due to delay in the remaining task of the party unification, party’s many cadres have been out of any responsibility thus affecting the organizational activities.
22 lawmakers had put forth their opinions in the meeting today. Party Chief Whip Gurung added that the next meeting of the party’s parliamentary party meeting will be held soon as per the appropriate time of the two chairs of the party as many lawmakers are yet to put forth their views.
