June 26, Kathmandu: National Assembly’s secretary Rajendra Phuyal presented the Appropriation Bill-2076 in today’s meeting of the National Assembly with a message from the House of Representatives.
Earlier in the zero hour of the meeting, parliamentarian Deepa Gurung demanded a raise the amount given for the operation of the colleges in various rural areas in the country up to at least Rs 1 million to Rs 1.5 million. Similarly, Another parliamentarian Durga Prasad Chapagain drew the attention of the government towards the shortage of seeds and fertilizers prevailing in the country at the time of paddy plantation. He also stressed on bringing those racket creating an artificial shortage of manure to book.
Likewise, Parliamentarian Nanda Chapagain said that the media disseminating the news about the parliament holding discussions on the Bill designed to integrate and amend the Bill relating to the Guthi (trust) was false information being spread since it was yet to hold deliberations on it.
In the second meeting of the National Assembly, Minister for Finance Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada had presented the proposal seeking the deliberation on the Appropriation Bill.
