No sufficient amount of budget in sports sector: Minister Bishwokarma

Chitawan, June 8: Minister for Youth and Sports, Jagat Bahadur Bishwokarma, has said that sufficient amount of budget allocation for the sports sectors could not be made possible for the coming fiscal year due to limited means and resources.

Talking to media persons in Chitawan today, Minister Bishwokarma said that although the Ministry demanded 15 billion rupees, it got only 3.99 billion rupees.

The Sports Minister said despite all odds the government has accorded high priority to sports.

Saying the government is active to move ahead by ending disputes surfaced in sports sectors, the minister asserted the country cannot be prosperous until the sports sector become prosperous.
