NC registers proposal of public importance

Kathmandu, June 5: The main opposition Nepali Congress has registered an urgent proposal of public importance relating to a ban on Nepali workers seeking jobs in Malaysia at the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

The issue of Nepali migrant workers are looked after by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security.

The proposal with reasons asks for discussions to lift the ban as soon as possible through diplomatic efforts to ensure Nepali youth’s right to job opportunities.

The document has been proposed by party lawmaker Dila Sangraula and backed by Ram Bahadur Bista and Dev Prasad Timilsina.
