PSC Mainali clarifies commission announced the vacancy for local level under its jurisdiction

Kathmandu, June 3: Today’s meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee held discussion with the officials of the Public Service Commission with regard to the recently announced vacancy for local levels.

In the meeting held at Singh durbar, the members of the parliament sought an explanation for announcing vacancy from the centre at the time when there is a provision of Provincial Public service Commission to recruit employees at local levels.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the public service commission, Umesh Mainali clarified that the commission announced the vacancy for local level under its jurisdiction and as per the demand of the government.

The meeting of the committee under the chairmanship of Sashi Shrestha has also made a decision to hold discussion with Minister for Federal Affairs Lal Babu Pandit in its next meeting.
