Nepal and Vietnam to sign in air service agreement

Kathmandu, May 9: The meeting of council of ministers has given approval to the prime minister led Nepali delegation to sign in the air service agreement to be held between Nepal and Vietnam.

Informing about the latest decisions of the cabinet, Minister for communication and information technology Gokul Prasad Baskota said air service agreement would be made between Nepal and Vietnam in course of the prime minister visit.

The government spokesperson said the prime minister visit would be paramount to strengthen relations with Cambodia and Vietnam and also would be important for Sagarmatha dialogue the government is going to run

The cabinet meeting further decided to increase the tenure of chairman of Electricity regulatory commission Dilli Bahadur Singh and appointed Ram Prasad Dhital, Ram Krishna Khatiwada, Rameshwar Prasad Kalwar and Bhagirathi Bhattarai Gyawali   as members.

Similarly, the term of Nepali ambassador to USA Dr. Arjun Kumar Karki has been extended.

Likewise, the government spokesperson Baskota said the encroached public lands across the country would be protected by bringing them under government control.
