Discussion continues in house of representatives over government policies and program for upcoming fiscal year.

Kathmandu, May 6: Today’s meeting of the House of the Representatives to hold deliberation in the government’s programs and policies for the upcoming fiscal year 2076/77 Bikram Sambat is in progress.

The members of parliament from the ruling party welcomed programs and policies presented by the government and informed that the programs and policies have been presented in an objective and scientific way with the aim of fulfilling national goal of Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali. They said that the program and policies are progressive in terms of their specific time framework for the completion of the respective projects. They said the path of socialism can be set by addressing the challenges faced for the effective implementation of the positive aspects of the recently presented programs and policies through the budget.

However, parliamentarians from the main opposition party Nepali Congress accused the government of announcing the Uranium and Railways related projects indiscriminately without informing how effectively previous year’s programs and policies were implemented.

Similarly, Parliamentarians from Madhesi based parties blamed the government for presenting the programs and policies in a traditional way that has not included the programs in the interest of Madhesi people.
