Government’s mission to fulfill people’s needs: DPM Pokharel

Mahottari, May 1: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwar Pokharel has said the government’s mission is to materialize the dream of people after creating the foundation of the federal democratic republic in the country.

Inaugurating the infrastructure development project office of the Bardibas Medical College in Mahottari today, DPM Pokharel pledged to initiate programs towards addressing basic needs related to health and education.

He added that the past one year was spent in formulating new laws in line with the Constitution and future years will be best utilized to design programmes to address the people’s needs.

Also speaking on the occasion, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Girirajmani Pokharel claimed that teaching and learning would begin in the Bardibas Medical College within five years.
