Nepal Army to begin house construction for storm victims

Birganj, April 29: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel has said that the Nepal Army should complete construction of the houses for storm victims in Bara and Parsa districts without making any delay.

The Federal government has given the responsibility to Nepal Army for the construction of houses there.

Talking to media persons after inspecting the affected area today, DPM Minister Pokharel, clarified that the Nepal Armay will fulfill its responsibility of constructing the shelters. He further said that there will be no policy-level obstacles in the task of constructing houses for storm victims and pt will not be affected by any political pressure.

Similarly, Chief of Army Staff, Purna Chandra Thapa said that a two-room house would be constructed for each family as per the cabinet decision. (RSS)
