Government will further strengthen local governments: Minister Bista

Baglung, April 17: Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista, has said that the incumbent government is vigorously working to further strengthen the local government.

Speaking at a reception organised by the Galkot municipality of Baglung district today, Minister Bista said the local government will be made more responsible to have effective implementations of the projects as the projects undertaken by the central government turning ineffective.

He said development works are expedited when the local governments are asked to carry out the works and therefore all projects except big ones will be implemented through the local governments themselves.
