Government vows to procure more medical supplies from abroad to control Covid-19

Kathmandu, May 6: The Government has said it is committed to procuring more medical supplies from abroad to control Covid-19.

Issuing a statement on Thursday, spokesperson at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Kiranraj Acharya said consistent efforts were on to bring in necessary medicines, safety gears and medical appliances through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The statement further states the government is procuring the vaccines from Bangladesh through IFC and Nepal Bangladesh Bank and the process of procuring 5 thousand doses of remdesivir has been forwarded.
