A person dies at Krishna Nagar Municipality in Kapilbastu while defying curfew imposed by the administration

October 31 : A person has died at Krishna nagar in Kapilbastu while defying curfew imposed by the administration. Local Surja kumar Pandey died of the police shot.

District administration office Kapilbastu has imposed curfew at Krishnagar municipality 2 for indefinite time from 11 am this morning.

The administration imposed curfew in the area of Krishnagar market place after the conflict among locals went in tense in course of immersing the idol of goddess Laxmi.

According to the district administration office Kapilbastu, curfew has been imposed considering the further clashes between them. Police has used tear gas to take the crowd under control.

Chief District Officer Gajendra Bahadur Shrestha informed the curfew has been imposed in the area of 7 hundred meters in north, west and 3 hundred meters east from the Krishna Nagar Custom office until the next order.
