NRA has decided to disburse private housing grant of 3 hundred thousand rupees in total
Kathmandu, July 2: The National Reconstruction Authority has decided to disburse private housing grant of 3 hundred thousand rupees in total at once to those beneficiaries who had constructed the house before the technicians were deputed to the concerned areas.
National Reconstruction Authority Chief Executive Officer Shushil Gyawali said as per the data received so far some 12 thousand houses had been constructed before the technicians were deputed and further information is being collected. For all those beneficiaries, a total of three hundred thousand will be disbursed at once.
The meeting of the working committee of the authority has also approved the work procedure of construction of houses in the settlement around heritages. Besides, the meeting fixed the standard for on room house. As per the standard, a one-room house should have at least 120 square feet inside it and it must have a kitchen, a toilet, and a veranda.
