Education Minister stresses on the need of relating education with productivity

June 22,Dang: Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Giriraj Mani Pokharel has stressed on the need of relating education with productivity.

Speaking to the media persons at a program organized by Nepal Press Centre Dang today, Minister Pokharel viewed that Nepal can achieve prosperity if the education is interlinked with labor, skills and productivity.

Stating that education sector is lacking good governance, Minister Pokharel urged the local governments to be strong for the improvement of it as they have jurisdiction up to secondary education.

Minister Pokharel in the meantime directed local levels to recruit qualified teacher discarding political cadres and relatives.
