Government making efforts to address problems in Guthi Bill through scientific and organized measures: Communications Minister Baskota
Kavrepalanchowk, June 15: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota has said it not good to make negative comments on the content of any bill without in-depth study.
Inaugurating the Telephone Exchange at Deupur municipality-6, in Kavrepalanchowk today, the Communications Minister said, it is not good to make misleading comments and criticisms rather not being based on the substance of the bills.
Minister Baskota said the Guthi bill tabled at the Parliament would be separately discussed keeping in mind the two different aspects, one related to culture, customs, religion, and social conducts, and another concerning production, ownership, and rights of farmers.
Meanwhile, he said the Guthi bill is aimed at providing land to the landless people, clarifying it unfair not to provide land to the helpless by holding the public property. He further said that the government is making efforts to addresses the concerns raised over the Guthi Bill through scientific and organized measures.
