Development, prosperity are present needs: PM Oli
Pokhara, June 1: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said development and prosperity are the present needs of the country.
Inaugurating the Scout Youth Convention in Pokhara today, PM Oli said time for prosperity has begun as the country’s political struggles are over.
The PM underscored honest, dedicated and responsible youths could drive the development activities in the country. For this, capacity building of youths is equally important.
Moreover, PM Oli cautioned that some elements were trying to frustrate unity among people to challenge national stability. So, everyone needs to rise above regional and ethnic narrow-mindedness.
On the occasion, Minister for Youth and Sport and First Scout, Jagat Bahadur Bishwokarma praised the Scouts, saying that it had played important role to direct youths towards right path.
Meanwhile, PM Oli inaugurated the Rabindara Adhikari Commemoration Foundation in Pokahara today amid a special ceremony.
The foundation was set up in commemoration of the late Minster for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari who died in a helicopter crash on February 27 in Tehathum.
