PM Oli returns home after taking part in Indian PM Modi’s swearing-in ceremony

Kathmandu, May 31: PM KP Sharma Oli has returned home today after taking part in Indian PM Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony. PM Oli had embarked on India visit yesterday following Modi’s invitation.

Today at the PM was welcomed at the Tribhuvan International Airport VVIP lounge by Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, DPM Ishwor Pokharel, Minister and high level officials among others.

Before returning home, PM KP Sharma Oli had his Indian Counterpart Narendra Modi had held a bilaterl meeting at Hydarabad House today itself. In the meeting they reaffirmed to further consolidate the bilateral ties between Nepal and India.

They underlined the importance of regular exchange of high-level visits between the two countries so as to further strengthen bilateral ties and advance cooperation in all possible areas for the mutual benefits of the two countries. PM Oli also congratulated Narendra Modi for his and his party’s victory in the election and wished for successful 2nd tenure.

Likewise, the PM conveyed President Bidhya devi Bhandari’s message of congratulations to Indian PM Narendra Modi and also extend an invitation to Indian President Ramnath Kovind for Nepal Visit on behalf President Bhandari.

Similarly, Prime Minister Oli extended an invitation to his Indian counterpart for Nepal Visit on their convenient time and Indian PM Modi has heartily accepted the invitation.
