Finance Minister Khatiwada directs secretaries to ensure 2/3 capital expenditure by Mid May

Kathmandu, April 21: Finance Minister Dr Yubraj Khatiwada has directed the secretaries at the ministries that have a substantial amount to budget to work ensuring satisfactory results.

Speaking at the review meeting regarding budget implementation at the ministry today, Finance Minister Dr Khatiwada urged the secretaries to ensure 2/3 capital expenditure by Mid May.

Saying there will no excuses for underperformance, he directed to secretaries to work vehemently within a month and improve performance as the budget expenses within Baishak will lay the foundation for the budget for next fiscal year.
