All security arrangements completed for November 20 elections: Home Ministry

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Home Affairs states that all security arrangements have been completed for November 20 elections to the House of Representatives and federal assembly.

Organizing a press conference in Singhdarbar on Friday, the Home Ministry said all security arrangements have been made to conduct the elections in a free, impartial, and peaceful manner.

In a press conference, Home Secretary Binod Prakash Singh said all security agencies have been directed to adopt a zero-tolerance in the activities affecting elections.

He further said three layers of security arraignments of Nepal Police, Armed Police, and Nepali Army respectively have been ensured in each polling booth.

The Home Ministry also said that legal processes have been initiated against the individuals and groups suspecting that they could disturb the elections.
