Two dead and six injured in road accident in Kapilvastu

October 22, Kapilvastu: Two people have died and six others were injured when a truck carrying armed police force (APF) personnel met with an accident in Kapilvastu on Friday evening.

The truck carrying APF personnel went out of control and met with an accident in Siuti of Banganga Municipality-3 in the district.

The truck driver armed police constable Ramesh Chaudhary and local resident Amar Tangnami died in the accident that took place in the Taulihwa road section, according to Police Inspector of Area Police Office, Pipra, Deepak Babu KC.

Three other APF constables Govind Subedi, Janak Chaudhary and Prem Malla were injured in the incident. After first-aid at Kapilvastu Community Hospital, they have been referred to Butwal for further treatment.
