Federal Affairs and General Administration Ministry directs local levels to launch voter education programs

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has directed all the local levels to launch voter education programs targeting the upcoming elections.

Secretary at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration Arjun Pokharel said the local levels across the country had been instructed to carry out voter education programs from 15 days before the November 20 elections.

The Election Commission has made a provision for the voter education management committee under the coordination of the chief administrative officer at the local level to educate all the eligible voters reaching their homes.
