Nepali Congress announces election campaign focusing on the federal and provincial elections

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress has announced an election campaign focusing on the federal and provincial elections scheduled for the 20th of November.

Organizing a press conference at the party headquarters at Sanepa today, Nepali Congress announced its election campaign with the slogan of Congress with people.

Congress Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat told the media person that the campaign would be led in three phases. Ash share today, that the first phase of the campaign will run from 26 August to 9 September.

The second phase of the campaign will be held after submitting the close list of proportional election candidates and the third phase after filing candidacies for first-past-the-post-election.

He added that the central level leaders of the party would start orienting leaders and caders in each district from tomorrow.

Congress Spokesperson Dr. Mahat further said during the campaign the party would inform people regarding the party’s roles in the citizenship bill and MCC agreement among others.
