NC elects leadership in all provinces except in province 2

December 6, Kathmandu: Indra Bahadur Baniya has been elected the President of Nepali Congress (NC) Bagmati Province Committee from the Bagmati Province Convention of the party.

For the election of the province committee president, re-election was held on Sunday as no candidate bagged at least 50 percent of the total votes.

Likewise, Uddhav Thapa has been elected as the President of the Nepali Congress (NC) Province 1 Committee by defeating his contender Gururaj Ghimire.

Similarly, Amar Bahadur Pun has been elected as the President of NC Lumbini province. Bir Bahadur Balayer has been elected as Nepali Congress Far West Province President and his panel won the election.

Similarly, Lalit Jung Shahi and his team got the victory in Karnali Province and Sukraraj Sharma-led team won the election in Gandaki Province. However, the election process in province 2 has not been decided yet.
