Press Council Nepal blacklists 4 news websites

June 25, Kathmandu: The Press Council Nepal (PCN),has blacklisted four news websites for violating the journalist’s code of conduct.

PCN’s spokesperson Dipak Khanal said the blacklisted online news portals were ehimalayan times.com, Birgunjcity.com, NRN khabar.com and Koshipati.com.

The PCN has decided to write to the Nepal Telecommunications Authority to stop ehimalayan times.com from disseminating news within the country as the news website has not been found registered as per the rules.

Meanwhile, the PCN has urged all journalists to abide by the code of conduct.
