Senior citizens aged 60 to 64 receiving vaccine from Tuesday

June 8, Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal (GoN) is administering the Covid-19 vaccine to senior citizens aged 60 to 64 from Tuesday.

They will be administered the VeroCell vaccine that was received in aid from China.

According to the Health Ministry, senior citizens aged 60 to 64 will receive the vaccine in the Kathmandu valley, while senior citizens aged 62 to 64 will receive it outside the Kathmandu Valley.

Nepal had received one million doses of the VeroCell vaccine from China to assist its vaccination drive.
