Kathmandu, Nov. 2: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the government should work in collaboration with opposition parties for country’s development and people’s welfare.
Launching an autobiography of freedom fighter late leader Gobardhan Sharma Pokharel entitled Journey of my life’ amid a program in Kathmandu today, the opposition party president Deuwa said the government should take all sides into confidence. He also said the opposition parties will support the government for good works.
Likewise, the party senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel said the Nepali Congress would never compromise in defending democracy. He also suggested to the government to utilize power of two-thirds majority for the welfare of the country in a wise manner.
Similarly, Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala stressed on the need for unity in the party to win next elections.
