National ID card for security: NCP Chair Dahal   

September 4 Chitawan – Chairperson of Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that national identity card is important for the general people and has long-term strategic importance from all points of view including good governance, development and security.

Inaugurating the Field Office of the Department of the National Identity Card and Civil Registration in the premises of the District Administration Office in Chitwan today, Nepal Communist Party Chair Dahal said discussions re underway between political parties and government regarding the issues to produce and distribute nation ID cards, saying the people have been facing problem for want of national identity card.
