CPN UML Standing Committee meeting today

October 21, Kathmandu: The CPN UML standing committee has been convened for Thursday.

Secretary at the party’s central office Sher Bahadur Tamang said Thursday’s meeting would discuss the matters related to recent floods and landslides and the party’s upcoming national general convention.

MeanwhileCPN UML chair KP Sharma Oli has directed the party cadres and leaders to extend hand for the rescue and relief of the disaster-hit people.

Addressing a programme in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Chairman Oli asked the UML cadres and leaders to join provide relief to the victims of floods and landslides following incessant rainfall since Sunday.
