Nepal receiving autumn rainfall due to impact of westerly winds

October 18, Kathmandu: Nepal has been receiving autumn rainfall due to the influence of westerly winds coupled with the low-pressure zone developed around the Bay of Bengal and Central India, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.

Almost all parts of Nepal has been witnessing some amount of rainfall for a couple of days.

Meteorologist Manju Basi said as the moisture-laden wind had been moving slowly to Nepal from Pakistan and India, Nepal would witness wet weather for a few more days.
