Nepal meets necessaary criteria to graduate from least developed countries

June 15, Kathmandu: Nepal has met the necessary criteria for its graduation from the least developed country to the middle level developing country.

Chief of Permanent Resident of Nepal to the United States Amrit Rai said a recent meeting of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations recommended Nepal for its graduation from the least developed country.

He said the proposal of Nepal’s graduation would be forwarded in the next General Assembly of the United Nations.
