NHRC alerts for extra caution to protect evidences,in Baitadi murder case

February 8, Kathmandu: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has demanded fair investigation into murder of a teenager in Baitadi district.

The Commission has further urged government to book the culprits soon.

Issuing a press release on Sunday, NHRC Spokesperson Dr Tikaram Pokharel said the NHRC had alerted all sides to take extra caution to protect evidences and witnesses in this case.

Meanwhile, the National Women Commission has also demanded for effective investigation into the case.

The Commission has also formed a probe committee to investigate the case.

The girl had gone missing on Wednesday and her dead body was found on Thursday in the jungle near her home.
