Kathmandu- The Council of Ministers has decided to present the proposal of dissolution of the federal parliament to President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.
The emergency meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Sunday morning decided to present the proposal of dissolving the parliament to the president.
P.M. Oli decided to present the proposal after he received the information that Nepal Communist Party (NCP) parliamentarians including Janardan Sharma were preparing to file a vote-of-no-confidence against the P.M. in the House of Representative (HoR), according to the sources close to P.M. Oli.
The move comes amid a deep crisis in the ruling NCP.
Update : P.M. Oli has reached the presidential palace Sheetal Niwas with the cabinet’s decision.
