Nepal and Australia enter direct air service agreement

1st October : Nepal and Australia have entered into an agreement to operate direct air service.

With the signing of Memorandum of Understanding on air service at Montreal in Canada, Nepali aircrafts are allowed to take off passengers from different destinations of Australia.

Australia has become 40th international country for Nepal having Memorandum of Understanding on flight service. Joint Secretary at Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Suresh Acharya informed that Nepal and Australia signed the Memorandum of Understanding to this effect at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) headquarters at Montreal today.
