62 people infected with dengue in Rupandehi

Bhaktapur, September7 : The Epidemiology and Disease Control division has stated that four people have lost their lives due to dengue infection within this fiscal year.

Chief of the disease Control division Dr Bibek Lal informed that  programme of dengue control has been forwarded in all seven provinces and 61.7 million rupees has been dispatched for the same purpose.

Meantime, specialist doctor at the department Dr. Baburam Marasini urged all to be alert if symptoms of pain in eyes, muscles, and joints, headache, backache, or if blood is seen in urine and vomit.

The department also stated that three people succumbed to dengue last year.

Meantime the far west regional health directorate has stated taht dengue has been detected in four districts of far west province. Five dengue patients have been registered in Darchula, four in Kailali, one each in Achham, Kanchanpur and Doti.

Likewise, a total of 62 people have been diagnosed with dengue in Rupandehi district.
