Entrance exams under health faculty of TU, KU uncertain

September 4, Kathmandu: Education, Science and Technology minister Giriraj Mani Pokhrel has resumed his initiation to solve the problems seen in Medical Education Sector.

Earlier he had directed the official from Tribhuvan University and Kathmandu University to take steps to unlock the offices padlocked by the students unions. As the talks between the two party did not come into term, he took his own initiative to end the deadlock.

Lately, he held talks with the TU and KU officials.

A struggle committee formed in the participation of the free students union has padlocked the faculties since September 1, calling for scholarship up to 75 per cent in medical education.
