Kathmandu, July 25: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated the newly elected Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson. In a congratulatory message today, Prime Minister Oli has extended his best wishes to Johnson for his successful tenure as well as for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of the United Kingdom.
The Prime Minister also recalled his recent visit to the United Kingdom and the bilateral meeting he had with the outgoing PM Theresa May on important bilateral matters. Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release on Thursday stated today that the PM expressed his willingness to closely working with his British counterpart to further cementing Nepal-UK bilateral ties.
Similarly, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has sent a message of congratulations to Dominic Raab, newly appointed Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom.
In his message, Foreign Minister Gyawali expressed his confidence that Nepal-UK friendship would continue to make further strides during the tenure of Raab.
