National Young Scientists Conference 2019  kicks off today

Kathmandu, June 5: The National Conference of Young Scientists Conference, 2019 has kicked off in the capital today with the aim of exchanging experiences and knowledge about the latest development in science and technology in South Asia.

Organized in collaboration between Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment of State 3 and the Central Department of Hydrology and Meteorology of Tribhuvan University, the conference has witnessed the participation of more than 100 young scientists from SAARC countries, the United Kingdom, Finland, and Germany.

Former Prime Minister and Nepal Communist Party senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal inaugurated the conference. Leader Nepal suggested the government to increase investment in science and technology.
