Kathmandu, April 27: Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Giriraj Mani Pokhrel, has described the education as a foundation infrastructure for nation’s development.
In his address to a programme organised by an organisation, Chetana, that has been assisting in the education of children of economically deprived parents/ guardians for a decade, the minister said, “Some 313,000 school age children are still out of school.”
He said the government is working on its plan to prevent people without the basic-level education even to open a bank account in the future.
The Education Minister appreciated the organisation for its support to students in the context when a majority of parents/guardians have problems for educating children. (RSS)
