Addressing the nation today, Prime Minister Deuba urged the concerned bodies to make homework for the elections in a bid to help his government fulfill its responsibility of holding timely elections in all three levels.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister also said the government had prioritized the tasks of implementing the constitution, maintaining peace and security, and strengthening the province and local levels.
He also expressed the government’s commitment to forging consensus with all political parties on the matter of national interests.
Prime Minister Deuba further clarified that under consideration issues in the parliament would be addressed in the parliament itself through dialogues among the political parties.
The Prime Minister also reiterated that the government had forwarded the vaccination drive against the Covid-19 in a bid to vaccinate all the eligible citizens against the virus by mid-April.
He added that coordination had been maintained among three tiers of government to contain Covid-19 and the government would forward measures to tackle the pandemic protecting the country’s economy.
The Prime Minister also claimed that the government had set a robust foundation for the political stability and prosperity of the country during his leadership within 6 months.
