President Bidya Devi Bhandari has stressed on all sides’ contribution to protect and promote human rights.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the 72nd International Human Rights Day today, President Bhandari said the people from all class, sector and profession need to contribute to protect and promote the human rights.

President Bhandari said the national ambition of ‘Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepalis’ could be realized with the effective implementation of the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution.

The president argued that various constitutional commissions and bodies were active in promoting and implementing human rights.
