All sides’ contribution imperative to promote human rights: Prez. Bhandari

Kathmandu- President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said the national ambition of ‘Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepali’ could be realized with the effective implementation of the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution and creation of just and equitable society.

In a message of best wishes to all Nepali sisters and brothers living in the country and abroad on the occasion of the 72nd International Human Rights Day on Thursday, President Bhandari said the people from all class, sector and profession needed to contribute to protect and promote the human rights.

She wished further harmony, tolerance and integrity among the people from all castes, cultures, languages.

Since the universal declaration of human rights on December 10, 1948, the International Human Rights Day has been marked across the world on 10th of December.
