The National Trade Association has called for making arrangements of loan flow without collateral in the upcoming monetary policy.

Issuing a press release on Thursday, Association’s general secretary Baikuntha Dahal demanded the arrangement of loan flow to entrepreneurs without collateral so as to protect the COVID-19 battered economy.

“The monetary policy should be business-friendly. It should come up with an instrument to address the woes of the business sector which has been adversely affected by coronavirus”, he said.

The businesspersons have also expected that the monetary policy would help revitalize the corona hardest hit traders and businesspersons.

The Association has also demanded waiver in the interest of loans taken from the banks and financial institutions during the period of lockdown and extend the deadline for installment re-payment.

The Association has also demanded the arrangement of re-financing and hassle-free loans for entrepreneurs.

Over 5,000 members have been affiliated to the Association.
